Iron Life previously known as Christian Sports and Business Ministry (CSBM) was established 18 years ago with the primary objective of providing a platform to share the word of God in a non-threatening environment. As a voluntary organisation, they host breakfast events throughout the year for business men and women to connect and to hear from a well-known sporting, community or business figure.
Our Purpose:
- Provide a platform to share the word of God with Christians and non-Christians.
- Be obedient to God’s mandate for us to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to non-Christians.
- Use inspiring leaders / mentors (sports, community, business leaders) to attract business men and women, who would not normally attend a Christian breakfast.
- Provide a forum for people to connect in an informal and inspiring environment.
- Provide a time for Christian leaders / hosts to ‘plug into’ each other and grow – ‘as iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend’.
- Provide an opportunity for the speaker to clarify and cement their own faith.
The Platform Is To:
Influence and inspire the guests, the hosts, the committee, the speakers and all involved in the breakfast.
The Vision Is To:
- Influence people for change.
- Inspire people for abundant life / living.
- Increase people for serving / influencing /contributing back / giving of themselves.
Expansion:
As the platform grows, all excess funds will be used to expand the vision of infl uencing, inspiring and increasing. Guests and organisations who cannot aff ord to attend the breakfast will be paid for and / blessed with a ticket and, thereafter, funds will be donated to Christian based non-profit organisations.
